Back and Blogging

Hey all you blog readers and subscribers! I haven't been able to post in awhile so let me catch up. The past few days a lot has happened in the world of Media & Tech.
Apple has not confirmed it but most experts are estimating that the big release for the Leopard operating system should be here by October 26th. We all know in the past the mac experts have tried to nail down dates but were wrong due to Apple. Let's all cross our fingers because everyone is waiting to see what Apple has done with their latest and greatest operating system.
Also the Apple iPhone was bricked last week. That essentially means that Apple sent out a update to all iPhone users that caused their iPhone to stop allowing third party application and it also stopped the use of other Networks. But hackers are already trying to break the new patch for anyone willing to try again. The good news is Apple is trying to control 3rd party applications now. They are allowing approved third party applications to be put on the iPhone. They have listed a bunch of sites on the official Apple website where you can get them.
I will soon be delivering vBlogs onto this site. In the near future I will be building a blog site thats not connected to blogger. Stay tuned for many large updates!

Edit Video Online with Jumpcut!

Last week I posted about a social website that I enjoy called Groovr. This week my website pick would have to be Jumpcut. Those of you who don't know what Jumpcut is let me briefly explain. Jumpcut is a web 2.0 site that is kinda like a very popular site called YouTube. One of the things that YouTube is lacking is a video editing feature. YouTube is basically just a site that displays already edited or raw digital footage. Jumpcut allows you to display your footage but it adds a free feature that usually would cost you no less than 70 bucks! You are able to edit the footage you upload! Jumpcut offers basic editing tools that allow you to do cuts, transitions, titles, and some minor level adjustments. You can even add music to your video! If you don't own video editing software or just want to do a quick edit and get it on the web then this is the website for you. I've found that this is an awesome tool even though it's still in the Beta stages. If you have a digital video camera then you need to check out Jumpcut.
